Chief Executive Officer
Prior to starting at Bio Spectra, Jean-François held various positions with Bombardier in Berlin, Germany and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Jean-François holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from McGill University where he also studied economics. He also holds a graduate degree in financial engineering from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
R&D Director
Hans Drouin is responsible for research and development of products at Bio Spectra. Hans holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, as well as a masters in chemical and biological engineering from the University of British Colombia. He is currently completing in parallel a Ph. D in chemical and biological engineering at the University of British Columbia.
Prior to starting at Bio Spectra, Benoit worked with Thoma Cressey Equity Partners, in San Francisco, California. Moreover, before he joined Thoma Cressey, Benoit was with the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, NY. Benoit is a graduate of the joint honours in economics and finance program from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
